Korba Diabetic and the cardiac centre has been founded by Dr Ashish Agrawal, MD, C. DIAB. Dr Ashish finished his M.B.B.S from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore. M.D Medicine from SDU Kolar, Bangalore. Dr. Agrawal has been practising in Indore for the last 5 years and he mainly deals with patients with diabetes, heart, thyroid, and other hormone-related disease. Dr Ashish Agrawal founded his centre in Transport Nagar, Chhattisgarh. As we know due to changing lifestyles and climate changes; the lifestyle diseases like diabetes, heart diseases, hypertension, thyroids, etc. are gaining ground all over the world. These lifestyle diseases affect developing countries more than developed counties. If we talk about India; India is called an international capital of lifestyle diseases mainly diabetes and heart disease.
Because of excessive carbohydrates in the diet, lack of physical activities, mental stress, and heredity; there are very high numbers of patients with diabetes, heart, hypertension, thyroids, and other lifestyle diseases in India.
